Lake Worth Car Accident Sends One to the Hospital

A Lake Worth car accident involving a broken down car results in three men getting hit by another vehicle, sending one of them to a nearby hospital. The incident took place at approximately 4:00 AM on Sunday morning, April 25, 2010, along 10th Avenue.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, three men were pushing a disabled car to the side of the road along 10th Avenue at Barnett Street when they were struck by another car. Deputies report that one of the victims was transported to Delray Medical Center where the person was treated for injuries sustained in the accident. Their condition was not made known

It was unclear if any of the other men suffered injuries as a result of the incident. The victim’s identities were not made available.

It was also not made known as to why the unidentified driver slammed into the three men. Police have yet to announce the cause or whether they will press charges against the driver.

The early morning Lake Worth auto accident is still under investigation by local authorities.
