Frequently Asked Questions for Palm Beach Accident Lawyers

Q: I was in a car crash and received medical care. Who is going to pay for my medical care?

A: If you are in a car crash and require medical attention, Florida's No-Fault  law requires that your own insurance company pay for your medical expenses, regardless of who caused the crash  or whose car you were in.  If you own a car, the crash must be reported to your own car insurance, even if your car was not involved in the crash.  If you don't own a car, but a family member that you live with does, their car insurance is responsible.  If you don't own a car and don't  live with a family member who does, the insurance company for the car you were in is responsible.  No matter which insurance company is responsible for your medical bills, the insurance company cannot raise the rates unless their insured caused the crash.
