Zyprexa Attorneys
Palm Beach - West Palm Beach - Florida
Zyprexa is known as an atypical anti-psychotic drug. Zyprexa is used to treat a wide range of psychological disorders, primarily schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved Zyprexa for the treatment of schizophrenia in 1996 and for the treatment of bipolar mania in 2000.
In May of 2002, a study by Britain’s Medicines Control Agency announced that several Zyprexa patients had developed diabetes-related complications. Other studies have indicated that Zyprexa may lead to diabetes, pancreatitis, ketoacidosis, and diabetic coma.
Recently, the FDA has required Ely Lilly, the manufacturer of Zyprexa, to include a warning label on Zyprexa that says Zyprexa is linked to diabetes, hyperglycemia, and other blood sugar disorders.
However, this warning label may have come to late for thousands of Zyprexa users. If you or a loved one has taken Zyprexa and subsequently developed diabetes, pancreatitis, hyperglycemia, ketoacidosis, or diabetic coma, contact an experienced Zyprexa attorney today to evaluate your claim.
If you or a loved one has developed diabetes, pancreatitis, hyperglycemia, ketoacidosis, or diabetic coma as a result of Zyprexa, call Fetterman & Associates at (561) 845-2510 or (800) 330-HELP (4357) or submit an online questionnaire. The initial consultation is free of charge, and if we agree to handle your case, we will work on a contingency fee basis, which means we get paid for our services only if there is a monetary recovery of funds. In many cases a lawsuit must be filed before an applicable expiration date, known as a statute of limitations so please call right away to ensure that you do not waive your right to possible compensation.
